Distributing Graphmatica

Files for distributors

These archives contain the same program files as those on the front page of this site, but their registration forms are coded to indicate that they were obtained through a shareware distributor. Please help me track how my customers are getting the program by distributing only these files, not the ones you can download from the homepage.

Screen shots

The screen shots on the main page are packaged for your convenience in the following archive. (Note: They are all encoded as interlaced GIF 89a for optimum web transmission; you may convert them to whichever format you prefer and use them without restriction for promoting Graphmatica online or in print.) Please do NOT link directly to images on this site. You are welcome to include the above images on your own site on a page describing Graphmatica or offering copies for download.

Linking to this site

If you want to provide further information about the product, please link only to http://www.graphmatica.com/.

If you cannot host the file yourself, please don't link directly to the files on this page; I have limited hosting bandwidth available. Instead, please use the URLs of the following links (use right-click, Copy Shortcut):

Distribution license

To qualify to distribute the files above, you must agree to the terms and conditions below. If you do not agree, then I must ask you to refrain from distributing the files. The terms are quite simple but if you don't understand what exactly I mean please feel free to e-mail questions to distrib@graphmatica.com.
  1. Only distribute the current version. If you are unsure whether you have the current version, please download the file(s) above. Also please e-mail me so I can add you to my mailing list of people to be notified when a new version is released.
  2. No modifications. You may not modify the executable file or documentation in any way. Preferably the program should be distributed in its original zip file, with the same name as above if possible. You may add your own installation program or example files, if desired. Please contact me for permission if you wish to distribute the program with user interface text or documentation translated into another language.
  3. Do not claim you are selling the program. Unless I have authorized you to sell copies through a bulk license and you remit royalties to me, only I can grant license to use the program to the end user.
  4. No excessive fees. Fees greater than $5 US per program or disk (CDs excepted) not only gouge my potential customers, but also cloud the issue of whether or not they have actually paid for the program. (They haven't.)
Sorry if the above is a little legalistic. I'm just trying to guarantee my rights and the rights of my customers. On the whole I think Shareware distributors are good folks and I owe you all a big thank you for helping me get where I am today by spreading my program and the message of Shareware around the globe.
