Market day in Namche

Saturday morning is devoted to what gives Namche its name--the Bazaar. Everybody who's anybody from all of the surrounding villages seems to be there, either to sell their goods or to buy what they need. This is the food market, where you can get anything from oranges to freshly butchered quarters of meat, with the hoof still attached in some cases!
