Sylvia

This is Sylvia. She is an ethnobotanist studying at the University of Hawaii, who has been researching traditional Tibetan medicine and its use in Nepal for the past couple months. I met her first at Tengboche and again in Namche, where I took this picture as she sketched out the layout of the town so she could record which houses she had interviewed the occupants of.
